(HBO) – The organising board of Hoa Binh Lake fishing competition held a meeting on September 27, discussing preparation for the event, which is slated for October 28 in Suoi Hoa commune, Tan Lac district.

Specific missions were assigned to members of the organising board, while a detailed programme was popularised to the People’s Committees of Tan Lac district and Suoi Hoa commune. Measures to ensure social order and fire and explosion prevention were tabled at the meeting as well.

Besides, the organising board issued the competition rules and set up a referee team. Anglers and members of fishing clubs across the country are all eligible to join the event.

The tournament is part of the first Da River fish and shrimp festival, the agricultural fair and exhibition of COOP products of the northern midland and mountainous area in 2023.

Beyond a fishing competition, it is expected to encourage local people and tourists to popularise Hoa Binh entertainment and resort tourism, helping the locality lure more visitors in the time ahead.
