In the morning of October 20th, the athletes began the competition in the 160km event, starting with the individuals and men's teams. This is also the final competition of the 38th National Road Cycling Championship in 2024. The racing location is in the center of Hoa Binh city via Hoa Binh Bridge 1 and Hoa Binh Bridge 2

After a morning of fierce competition through 13 races, with the impartiality, objectivity, and responsibility of the Referee Council, the results were that the 160km event started with individual rows, with the smart tactics and the support from the teammates, the first place went to the athlete Ngo Van Phuong (Hanoi), the second place – the athlete Trinh Duc Tam (An Giang), the third place – the athlete Dang Van Phap (Vinh Long).
For the 160km event starting with the male team, the first place belonged to Vinh Long team, the second place was given to Dong Nai team and the third place went to Hanoi team.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 38th National Road and Mountain Bicycle Championship in 2024 held from October 9th – 20th, 2024 in Hoa Binh city was a great success. The tournament is judged that the athletes from each team are equal in quality. The tournament is a premise for selecting the athletes to compete for the national cycling team to participate in the international cycling tournaments.

From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
