The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2019 (ATF 2019) will take place in Ha Long City, the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh, from January 14-18 next year, themed "ASEAN - the Power of One”.

Looking at it from far distance, Dua Island is hidden in the green of trees and the vast water, which makes those who have not been here before think that it is a natural island like the other small ones floating on the lake when embanking dam to build Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant.

Over 93 percent of interviewed foreign tourists said they are satisfied with their trips to Vietnam, according to the Vietnam Annual Tourism Report 2017 by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

The small Lang Co town in Phu Loc district, Thua Thien – Hue province is located on the root of the imposing Hai Van mountain range. Endowed with over 10km long beach sloping gently to the pure water sea to shape an arc with the long and beautiful sand, Lang Co is a quiet note for summer escape.

Local officials hope it can become a popular destination on Mekong Delta tours.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of the northern province of Quang Ninh’s Co To island district Tran Nhu Long on June 21 advised tourists not to visit Co To island during power disruption time to reduce electricity and water supply pressure in the island.
