During 2019-2023, Nguyen Thi Chinh, Chairwoman of the Hoa Mai
Kindergarten Trade Union, proposed and successfully implemented her two
initiatives aimed at fostering unity among staff and creating a welcoming
library environment in the school. Her efforts contributed significantly to
improving teaching quality and protecting the trade union members'
rights.
With over 2,400 members across 80 grassroots trade unions, the labour
federation has instructed the unions to take practical actions to respond to
various emulation movements, such as the "skilled and creative
labour", "green - clean - beautiful - safe - hygienic
workplace", "joining hands to build new-style rural areas",
"studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle",
among others.
These movements have seen strong participation, motivating
workers to excel in their tasks and innovate in their fields. Since the
beginning of the year, over 98% of female members have joined the "good at
work, good at home" movement, resulting in 320 recognised initiatives that
have saved around 640 million VND (25,300 USD) for local agencies,
organisations and enterprises.
President of Da Bac Labor Federation Quan Van Giang highlighted
that State employees, workers and labourers are essential to implementing
patriotic emulation movements at all levels.
The federation calls on trade unions to continue fostering
creativity and contribute to the local socio-economic development, ultimately
strengthening the trade union organisation.
