The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.

The provincial Cooperative Union (CPU) has just organized a conference to promote supply and demand outside the province and display the typical cooperative products of Hoa Binh province in Hanoi. There was the attendance of the leaders from the departments, branches, the provincial CPU, and the representatives of the cooperatives from 10 districts and the city. There was also the attendance of Hanoi city’s representatives of the city CPU and 22 enterprises and cooperatives in Hanoi.

The Department of Cultural Heritage has just coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province to organize a training on implementing the model of the cultural heritage connected in the cultural tourism journey in Cao Phong and Lac Son districts.

The lantern-floating ceremony on the Da river, held in conjunction with the local ritual praying for bumper fish catches, is an integral part of major festivals and cultural events in Hoa Binh province. Its 2024 edition took place as part of the second Da river fish and shrimp festival.
