As Vietnam enters a new phase of economic and administrative reform in 2025, Hoa Binh province is stepping up its efforts to streamline governance, boost economic growth, and attract investment.

The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway project, spanning the Hoa Binh province section, is being expedited as contractors focus resources to accelerate construction progress.

The province aims to achieve an economic growth rate (GRDP) exceeding 10% in 2025, establishing a solid foundation for sustained double-digit growth in the years to come.

A key aspect of this transformation is the restructuring of the administrative system to improve efficiency and service delivery. This restructuring will affect thousands of officials and public servants, emphasising the importance of collective responsibility and a strong work ethic.

Early in the year, the provincial People’s Committee launched a campaign under the slogan: "Discipline and responsibility; proactive and timely action; streamlined and effective administration; rapid and breakthrough growth.” This initiative focuses on restructuring the economy, enhancing productivity and competitiveness, and fostering sustainable growth while maintaining social stability and national security.

One of the province’s top priorities is the completion of major infrastructure projects, including the Hoa Binh – Moc Chau Expressway and regional connectivity roads, such as the Hoa Binh – Hanoi link and the Hoa Lac – Hoa Binh Expressway. These projects are expected to play a crucial role in driving investment and economic expansion.

Efforts are also underway to simplify administrative procedures, integrate digital transformation, and improve the business environment to attract investment. The provincial leadership is committed to mobilising resources for large-scale infrastructure development while ensuring that the newly restructured administrative units operate seamlessly, without disrupting public services.

Additionally, Hoa Binh remains steadfast in its fight against corruption and wastefulness, considering this effort vital in parallel with economic reform.

Authorities are determined to fulfill the socio-economic targets set for 2025 and the broader 2021–2025 period.
