(HBO) – Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang has made a fact-finding tour of the An Thinh Hoa Binh Land joint Stock Company and some businesses investing in the Luong Son Industrial Park.

Visiting the An Thinh Hoa Binh Land JSC on March 2, Chairman Quang recognised the firm’s achievements in infrastructure investment and business, attraction of secondary investors, and social welfare activities, which have contributed to the change of the province’s economic structure.

The Luong Son Industrial Park has been equipped with synchronous infrastructure, thus attracting 29 investment projects, including 13 FDI projects worth around 232 million USD and 16 domestic ones with registered capital of over 2.7 trillion VND (118.8 million USD).

Investment projects in the Luong Son Industrial Park have been implemented as scheduled and operated effectively, creating new industrial products in the fields of telecom equipment, garment, mechanics, car spare parts, aluminum, glass, and building materials, thereby helping with the sustainable shift of local economic structure.

In 2017, most of the projects in the park fulfilled and surpassed their production and business plans, resulting in a sharp rise in revenue and export value compared to the previous year. These projects have provided jobs for more than 12,000 workers whose average per capita income is 4.7 million VND each month. Many businesses have had profitable projects such as Esquel Vietnam, HNT Vina, and Doosung tech.

Some enterprises have also shown their interest in investing in the Luong Son Industrial Park since the beginning of 2018.

Chairman Quang asked the An Thinh Hoa Binh Land JSC, relevant agencies and local authorities to step up investment promotion, support existing projects, provide the most practical assistance for businesses and investors to carry out their projects in the Luong Son Industrial Park, and attract more investment in other industrial parks.

He told them to address the shortage of workers’ housing, attract labourers to investment projects, improve the supply of electricity for production and business activities, simultaneously develop economy and protect the environment, and better care for workers.

Meanwhile, Esquel Vietnam is providing jobs for 4,000 people with average monthly per capita income of 5 million – 6 million VND.
