HBO – A working delegation led by permanent Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Hoa Binh province Tran Dang Ninh on July 17 visited and presented gifts to Heroic Mother Xa Thi Van, 96, in Mo La hamlet, Tu Ly commune, Da Bac district on the occasion of the 70th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2017).
The delegation included representatives
from the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission; the Department
of Health; the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the
provincial Youth Union, and Da Bac district’s Party Committee and People’s
Committee.
Heroic Mother Xa Thi Van was born in
1921. Her two children Xa Quy Hoang and Xa Quy Tieu laid down their lives in
the anti-US resistance war. Over the past years, together with the Party and
State’s policies, Mother Van has received attention and care from local Party Committee,
authorities, departments and organisations.
The Vice Secretary asked after her
health, and expressed his profound gratitude to her sacrifice for the national
liberation and reunification. He wished Mother Van good health, longevity, and
would continue educating young generations of the patriotic tradition so as to
contribute to developing Hoa Binh province.
