(HBO) –The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA)and the Hoa Binh Party Committee opened a training course for seed leading and managerial during the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 periods at the committee’s hall on March 6. The opening ceremony was attended by Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Thanh Khai, head of the institute for training leading and managerial officials under the HCMA, members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and 89 members of the course who come from departments, agencies, Hoa Binh city and districts of the province.

During the one-month course,
the officials will study 25 specific, practical topics to get updated knowledge
meeting development requirements of the province, and serving the leadership
and management work.
Apart from knowledge
about political theories and State administrative management, they will be
equipped with tools, skills and arts of leadership and management, professional
ethics and information relating to socio-economic development orientations of
the province.
Addressing the opening
ceremony, Tinh called on the HCMA, relevant agencies and units, and the members
to well materialize the course’s programme, focusing on leadership and
management skills, as well as morals, lifestyle and manners of officials and
Party members, and the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW
and the Resolution on Party building and rectification adopted at the fourth
plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee.
He also asked the course
members to follow the programme’s rules and time, and constructively
participate in discussions, especially those on new and thorny issues regarding
the implementation of political tasks in localities, agencies and units, while
fulfilling their own assigned political tasks.
The officials were also
urged to apply knowledge they will gain during the course in improving
leadership and management capacity in agencies, units and localities under
their charge.
The provincial Party
Committee’s Office and Organisation Board and relevant units should closely
coordinate with each other to thoroughly prepare for the course, he said.
Over recent years, the Farmers' Union of Mai Chau district has implemented numerous specific programmes and activities to support its members in developing products under the One Commune One (OCOP) programme. These efforts have contributed to enhancing local agricultural branding, increasing goods value, and improving incomes and living standards for residents.
Since 2022, the Hoa Binh Department of Education and Training has provided advice for the provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 219/KH-UBND on November 17, 2022, which outlines the implementation of a project titled "Enhancing the application of Information Technology (IT) and Digital Transformation in Education and Training for the 2022–2025 period, with a vision to 2030.” As of now, the local education sector has made significant progress in IT adoption and digital transformation.
Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.

Efforts have also been directed toward upgrading infrastructure and equipment to enhance service quality for residents and businesses.
