(HBO) – A working delegation led by Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee of northern mountainous Hoa Binh province, on July 18 paid a call on three Heroic Vietnamese Mothers in Ky Son district.
The delegation also presented
gifts from the President, the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the
People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoa Binh province to the
heroic mothers.
They are Nguyen Thi Bi
(born in 1921, residing in Mong Hoa commune), mother of two martyrs Nguyen Minh
Duc and Nguyen Minh Thinh; and Bui Thi Sau (born in 1922, residing in Yen Quang
commune), wife of martyr Bui Van Mong and mother of martyr Bui Van Anh who laid
down their lives in the wars against France and the US, respectively.
The third mother is Nguyen
Thi Su (born in 1918, residing in Hop Thanh commune), mother of martyrs Nguyen
Van Dieu and Nguyen Hung Chuoc.

During the visit, comrade
Bui Van Tinh expressed his gratitude to the heroic mothers for giving birth, bringing
up and encouraging their children to fight for the country’s independence and
freedom. He also thanked the mothers for their sacrifices for the country and
inquired their health conditions and wished them to live long and healthily as
the moral support of their families.
The secretary also
required the local authorities to pay attention to and care for heroic
Vietnamese mothers in particular and for people who rendered services to the
nation in general, ensuring living conditions of their families both materially
and spiritually.

After the historic victory on April 30, 1975, which liberated the South and reunified the country, the whole Vietnam embarked on a new mission — promoting peace and reconstructing the nation with century-defining projects.
