On behalf of provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of
the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s
Council Tran Dang Ninh presents a flag with the words reading "The Party
organisation of the Hoa Binh provincial agencies bloc in 60 years of construction,
development and maturity (27/3/1958 – 27/3/2018)” to the standing members of
the provincial agencies bloc’s Party Committee.
After six decades of development, the bloc’s Party
organisation now comprises 73 subordinate Party units with nearly 4,000 Party
members who are working at provincial agencies and units.
Bringing into play the attained outcomes, the
Party organisation pledged to continue making efforts to achieve the goal set
at its congress for 2015-2020, which is building pure and strong Party units,
promoting the vanguard role of officials and Party members, and excellently
fulfilling provincial agencies’ political tasks.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the
Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Tran Dang Ninh lauded the achievements that
the provincial agencies bloc’s Party organisation has attained over the last 60
years.
To promote its tradition and role amid
strengthened industrialisation, modernisation and integration, he asked the
Party organisation to boost its leadership in political and ideological affairs
while improving grassroots-level Party committees’ responsibilities in
examination and supervision. It also needs to reform leadership methods and
improve the leadership capacity and combating readiness of local Party units
along with the quality of officials and Party members.
He stressed that grassroots-level Party units
have to effectively comply with regulations on leaders and civil servants’
performance of duties. They need to do a good job of discovering, selecting and
appointing capable officials, members of Party committees and secretaries of
Party cells.
Meanwhile, it is necessary to encourage and
honour exemplary Party cell secretaries in a timely manner, push ahead with
emulation movements, ensure democracy, and fight corruption and wastefulness,
Ninh said.
On this occasion, the Party organisation of the provincial
agencies bloc commended 31 outstanding secretaries of Party cells who have
greatly contributed to their specialised work and Party
building./.
