(HBO) – The Construction Department of Hoa Binh province on April 27 celebrated the 60th anniversary of the construction sector (April 29, 1958 -2018). The ceremony drew Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.


Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented hangings of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People’s Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee recognising the construction sector’s 60 years of establishment and development.


Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, awarded certificates of merit from the Minister of Construction to collectives and individuals who gained outstanding achievements in the emulation movement commemorating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the construction industry.


Over the past 60 years, together with the whole country, Hoa Binh’s construction sector has overcome many difficulties and challenges, constantly growing in all aspects, achieving great achievements and contributing to the success of the construction and protection of the nation and Hoa Binh.

 

Especially since the re-establishment of the province, with the development of management officials, engineers, architects, construction workers, the growth of enterprises, the development of the organisational structure and material facilities as well as professional capacity, the construction industry has achieved great results. It has  advised the province on such areas as planning management - architecture, urban development and technical infrastructure, housing development and real estate markets, management of construction investment, infrastructure of industrial zones, industrial clusters. Therefore, the infrastructure of urban and rural areas as well as public works has been developed to create motivation for investment attraction and socio-economic development.

Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, congratulated the sector on its traditional day. He recognised the contributions and achievements of all officials and workers of the provincial construction industry. In the coming time, he suggested that the sector should bring into play its achievements in personnel development as well as its activeness, creativity and action-oriented efforts, thus realising the Party's policies and resolutions into practical political tasks of the sector, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic targets as resolved by the 16th provincial Party Congress.


The Deputy Standing Secretary of the provincial Party Committee has handed over the hangings of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee, recognising the achievements of 60 years of establishment and development to the Hoa Binh construction industry.


The Ministry of Construction also awarded certificates of merit to five collectives, while presenting insignia to 19 individuals with outstanding contributions to the growth of the construction industry and the implementation of emulation movement./.

Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.

Ceramic mural on Hoa Binh military-civilian ties inaugurated

The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.
