(HBO) - In order to reduce difficulties of losing homes and relocation of households which were influenced by natural disasters, Kim Boi Relief Department visited and gave the support of 1.8 billions VND for 94 households in order for them to construct and repair their houses after the flood in 2017.

In particular, there were 85 households in three communes: Ha Bi, Vinh Dong and Tu Son which were in a list of relocation. The remainder (9 households) which has lived stably belongs to communes: Hop Dong, Nat Son, Hung Tien, Kim Tie, Lap Chieng, Thuong Bi and Cuoi Ha.

 

The leaders of Kim Boi district gave the supporting amount of money for households in Vinh Dong commune which must remove to new resettlement areas.

The terrible flood which happened in October, 2017 on two communes Ha Bi and Tu Son did lead to serial consequences of unusual abnormalities and very long hill cracks, especially it appeared land subsidence phenomenon and landslide which threated people’s lives seriously. Particularly, the areas which were at the high risk of landslide located at Mo Khoac hamlet of Ha Bi commune and Dup hamlet of Tu Son commune. At here, there was a 100 - meter - long crack that stayed at the height of 200 meters from the ground, and there were many small cracks at the bottom of hills. This means that the hills had a high risk of collapsing totally. Therefore, Ha Bi and Tu Son communes which have 29 and 30 household respectively must be removed immediately. In Vinh Dong commune, there were 26 households belonging to the area affected by the flood and landslide. In addition, there were 9 households belonging to communes Hop Dong, Nat Son, Hung Tien, Kim Tie, Lap Chieng, Thuong Bi and Cuoi Ha which were also influenced but they did not have to relocate. They would be supplied some land to construct new houses or helped to repair their current houses.

The provincial and district budgets were drawn to support for households. Especially, 85 households which were in a list of relocation and needed to construct new houses would receive the support of 20 millions VND per household, and nearly 11,7 millions VND per household were given to the households to repair their houses. District Relief Department kindly visited and shared with the difficulties of the households. Although the amount of money was not enough, it demonstrated the truly attention and tradition mutual love to these households.
