(HBĐT)-On 1st of June, Hoa Binh City People’s Committee organized a ceremony to commend and reward excellent teachers and good students as well as award scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year.

In the 2017-2018 school year, the education and training sector of city continues to maintain the tradition of good study. Over the city, there are 2.358 good students at city level, which increased more 312 ones than in the 2016-2017 school year. In addition, there are 168 students achieved provincial-level awards, including 28 first prizes, 43 second prizes, 62 third prizes and 35 consolation prizes. At national level, there are 19 good students awarded by 2 first prizes, 7 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes. Finally, there are 3 bronze medals and 6 prizes of prospect in the "Mathematics” contest at the elementary level.  

Moreover, at the Ceremony of Commendation for Excellent Teachers, Good Students and the Award Scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year, Hoa Binh City People’s Committee commended 76 excellent students and students who have achieved prizes at national-level, provincial-level and city-level competitions as well as honor 25 teachers and 15 schools which have good achievements in good teaching, good education and excellent teachers awarded in first, second, third and consolation prizes at city level.

Hoa Binh Provincial Study Encouragement Association commended 8 teachers who have difficult situations but still fulfil their duties. Furthermore, the association presented gifts for 35 poor and hard-working students and 23 high school students having excellent academic achievements. Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) at Hoa Binh presented to 25 excellent teachers and 35 students having difficult situations over the area. City Red Cross awarded 10 bicycles to 10 poor students overcoming difficulties

Hoa Binh allocates over 30 trillion VND for infrastructure development

Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.

Ceramic mural on Hoa Binh military-civilian ties inaugurated

The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.
