(HBO) – The People’s Committee of northern Hoa Binh province recently held a ceremony to inaugurate a public administration centre.
Attending the event was member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Dinh Van Duc and leaders of agencies and units.

As part of the office of the
provincial People’s Committee, the centre is tasked with processing
administrative procedures for individuals and entities and acquiring public
feedback on administrative procedure settlement. The centre is entitled to
oversee and examine the progress of administrative procedures via software that
can offer administrative services at the third and fourth level.

With 21 counters, the centre employs
26 experienced officials, not including the director and contract workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of
the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang said the establishment of
the centre aims to speed up administrative reform by improving the efficiency
of administrative procedures while ensuring transparency. He asked the centre
to fulfill assigned tasks and improve professionalism of civil cadres,
contributing to improving the business climate and fueling development.

Administrative reform has been identified as a key priority in enhancing state governance, improving the business environment, and facilitating services for citizens and enterprises.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.

The northern province of Hoa Binh, with over 467,000 hectares of natural forest and more than 100,000 hectares of production forest, holds significant potential for carbon credit market development.
Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
