(HBO) – The Information and Communication Board of the provincial Hoa Binh Party Committee held a ceremony at the provincial school of politics on July 6 to wrap up the 2018 contest for excellent lecturers in political theory.
The event saw the presence of Standing Deputy
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial
People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh, and member of the provincial Party Committee’s
standing board and head of the Information and Communication Board Nguyen Van
Toan, who is also head of the contest organising board.

The contest, which was held on July 5 and 6,
attracted 25 outstanding contestants who are leaders, lecturers and cadres selected
from the 11 Party Committees of district-level localities and three Party
Committees directly subordinate to the provincial Party Committee.
It was divided in the qualifying and final
rounds. Each contestant took part in three sections: compiling lesson plans,
giving lectures and answering questions. They chose a lesson in the political
theory training programmes for officials and Party members to participate in
the competition.
The contest aimed to create a strong improvement
in the quality and effectiveness of political theory education at
district-level political training schools and Party Committees. It also looked
to evaluate the capacity of political theory lecturers across the province,
give them a chance to share experience and popularise useful lecturing methods,
and choose the best lecturers for the regional contest.
The organising board presented certificates of excellent
lecturer to 25 contestants. The first prize went to Trieu Thi Minh Nguyet, director
of the political training centre of Ky Son district. Meanwhile, two second
prizes, three third prizes and six consolation prizes were also presented.
The two best contestants were selected to take
part in the regional contest which will be held by the Party Central
Committee’s Commission for Information and Communication./.
On May 15, the Hoa Binh Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation launched the "Digital Literacy for All” movement.
