(HBO) – The armed forces in Ky Son district, Hoa Binh have presented 42 bicycles to poor students across the district to motivate them in their study at the start of the 2018 – 2019 school year.

In response to the fundraising campaign initiated by the
province’s Military Command for the fund "Going to schools with students,” the
district’s armed forces have gifted a total of 71 bicycles and sponsored seven
students from difficult background, worth more than 50 million VND, between
2015 and 2017.
This year, the district’s military command has raised donations
from its units stationed at 10 communes and townships for the fund "Going to
schools with students”. The donations were used to purchase 42 bicycles for the
poor students at the cost of 63 million VND.
The fund has been also supported by the local governments and
people. It has helped many students living in difficult circumstances in Ky Son
to have bicycles to travel to school and motivate them study well.
On May 15, the Hoa Binh Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation launched the "Digital Literacy for All” movement. The event was held both in-person and virtually, connecting provincial authorities with district-level Party committees and local communities across communes, wards, and townships.
