(HBO) – The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang together with some leading representatives of some departments and sectors of the province visited and worked with the tourism destination resort, which produce Cordyceps belonging to Herbal King Mai Chau Company.

The location of the mixed area of tourism and the production of Cordyceps is considered as the ideal stopover for thousands of passengers traveling on Highway 6 every day, because this area is located on the border of the Highway 6, on the top of the legendary Thung Khe pass, Thung Khe commune (Mai Chau) - where has the ideal climate of being always cool even during the hottest weather of the year.

At this place, the leaders of the province visited the closed production lines of producing Cordyceps and some areas being expected to be expanded for attracting more visitors to stop to visit. Mr. Nguyen Van Quang highly appreciated the investment in the right direction and the way of bringing into full play the advantages and potentials of the locality in order to develop tourism and produce distinctive climate products that bring high economic value.

 

The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang and leading representatives of some departments of the province visited and worked in the tourism resort, producing Cordyceps on the top of Thung Khe Pass (Mai Chu).

 

It is known that Herbal King Mai Chau Company has invested in the Zone of ecotourism and production of Cordyceps on the top of Thung Khe Pass since October, 2017 with an area of about 1.4 hectares. Up to now, all the items of basic construction have been completed with the investment of 7 billion VND, including the counter area of introducing and selling products.

In every month, the Company produces about 10kg of Cordyceps with the current selling price of approximately 80 million VND per kg. In the near future, it is estimated that the revenue from tourism as well as sales of the company’s products is estimated at 30 billion VND, striving to pay to the State budget of 2 - 3 billion VND.

The representative of Herbal King Mai Chau Company said that the products at Herbal King Mai Chau Company are produced and planted in a closed ecological technology process system without the use of growth drugs and preservatives.

At the same time, the Company will also take advantage of the ideal climate at the top of Thung Khe Pass to attract more and more visitors to stay here whenever they have the opportunity to go by the Highway 6.
