(HBO) –The Hoa Binh municipal chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Youth Union of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations recentlyorganised the programme "Spring of love" in 2019 at Thai Thinhethnic semi-boarding school inHoa Binh city.

The union members presented 50 winter uniform jackets and 15 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND,topoor students; and announced the construction of a school playground at a cost of 50 million VND. They also donated a set ofdrums, 10 sets of uniforms of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisationand 16 book boxes, thereby adding more reference books to the school library. As part of the programme, the delegation visited and presented gifts to twopoor households in Voi village, Thai Thinh commune.

The "Spring of love"programmewas a practical activity in response to the Spring Volunteer Programme 2019 launched by the two units. It aimed to promote the role of volunteers andshow the tradition of mutual support and sharing for the community, contributing to encouraging students living in difficult circumstances to achieve better performance in study and training./.
