report about the EcoSmartCity project in Hoa Binh.

which information and communication technology (ICT) is applied to all
activities, bringing high efficiency in administrative management and
socio-economic development as well as improving the quality of life for people,
and ensuring sustainable development.
Hoa Binh has favourable conditions to pursue
this model, which will create a firm foundation for the province to promote its
internal strength and make effective use of external sources to become one of
the localities to catch up with the global development trend.
The project will be carried out in five
districts, namely Ky Son, Luong Son, Da Bac, Lac Thuy and Kim Boi, with a total
investment of about 500-700 billion USD within nearly 70 years.
Aiworld Group JSC hopes the province will
promulgate more regulations and IT application conditions in EcoSmartCity to
push the implementation of infrastructure building.
The group will coordinate with consulting units,
domestic and foreign investors to map out plans and estimate the investment
budget for building the EcoSmartCity under the project when it is approved.
Priorities will be given to building infrastructure to facilitate the
connection of smart applications in the future.
At the working session, participants agreed that
the EcoSmartCity project is a big one that needs long time to complete.
Therefore, in the near future, it is necessary to focus on doing research,
making preliminary surveys, and making legal documents and procedures to ask
for the Government, centrally-run ministries and departments’ policies.
Speaking at the function, Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh hailed the investor’s idea about the
EcoSmartCity project. He assigned the provincial Department of Planning and
Training to chair working sessions with the investor to prepare all necessary
conditions to carry out the project. While providing more information about
planning, infrastructure, and large-scale projects underway in the province,
the official asked the investor to expand the planning of Yen Thuy district and
build the EcoSmartCity in association with the local planning schemes without
affecting local administrative units./.
