(HBO) – The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee on June 20 sent Dispatch No.2 requiring the Director of the provincial Department of Education and Training, and leaders of relevant departments and sectors and local People’s Committees to carry out several work related to the organisation of the national high school graduation examination this year in the province.
The document asks the
Department of Education and Training to take measures and make thorough
preparations of necessary conditions to well hold the national high school
graduation exam 2019, including checking infrastructure and equipment to serve
exam proctoring and marking, and ensuring security and safety at exam venues.
The department is
required to allocate competent teachers to join the national exam, have
suitable methods to deal with abnormal incidents to create the most favourable
conditions for examinees and proctor.
It is also asked to
make a specific plan to inspect exam proctoring, marking and rechecking and
result approval; publicize a hotline on the examination; detect and deal with
negative acts during the exam; and prevent inappropriate equipment and devices,
especially hi-tech ones, from being brought in exam rooms for cheating
purposes.
The provincial Police
Office is requested to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training
and local People’s Committees in carrying out measures to ensure safety,
security and order, and preventing fires and explosions, especially in keeping
secret the exam questionnaire as well as its photocopy and transportation.
The office is also
required to regulate the traffic around exam venues, protect proctors during
the examination, and address negative behaviours that worry the public, thus
contributing to ensuring rules and equality in the exam.
The dispatch also
requires departments, sectors and local People’s Committees to coordinate
closely in organizing the exam to ensure it takes place safely, seriously and fairly
and reflects the quality of teaching and learning correctly, and there are no
faults./.
Over recent years, the Farmers' Union of Mai Chau district has implemented numerous specific programmes and activities to support its members in developing products under the One Commune One (OCOP) programme. Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.
The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.

As a mountainous district still facing numerous challenges, Da Bac has made notable progress in advancing administrative reforms across various areas. The district has prioritised reorganising and streamlining its administrative apparatus, operating "one-stop-shop” units, and applying information technology (IT) in the handling of administrative procedures. Efforts have also been directed toward upgrading infrastructure and equipment to enhance service quality for residents and businesses.
