(HBO) - The final round of the fifth Public Security Forces' Regulations, Shooting and Martial Arts Competition 2019 in the northern region wrapped up.

Representatives from the Steering Committee of the fifth Public Security Forces' Regulations, Shooting and Martial Arts Competition - the Ministry of Public Security present prizes to units with good performance at the event.

The final round of the fifth Public SecurityForces'Regulations,Shooting and Martial Arts Competition2019 in the northern region was organised in Hoa Binh province.

The competition attracted the participation of over 600 officers and soldiers from 12 teams, which ranked first and second in the group round. They were from the police of Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thua Thien - Hue, Lao Cai, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho and Hoa Binh; and units from emulation groupings 2 and 4 of the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Police Academy and the People’s Security Academy.

The event ended successfully after two days of competition in four categories - team review and performance of situations using People’s Police martial arts; theory on People’s Police regulations; regulations of line-up, ceremony, martial arts; and military shooting.

According to the organising board, the competition was held in line with the content, programme and plan of the Ministry of Public Security with absolute safety. The participating teams strictly abided by the examination regulations and fully completed all contents of the competition.

The results of the competition are the basis for the police units and localities to continue to maintain and promote the research, studying and observance of regulations, and enhance training in regulations and martial arts, thus making them regular activities and an emulation content of the Ministry of Public Security.

The organising board awarded 34 prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.The Hanoi Police’s team won the first prize, and teams from the Hai Phong Police and the People's Police Academy took the second prize. The third prize winners were teams from the Hoa Binh and Lao Cai Police agencies, and the Emulation Grouping No. 4 of the Ministry of Public Security. 

In the event’s categories, the Hoa Binh Police’s team won the first prize in individual shooting and the third prize in the category of commanders’ practice on People’s Police regulations./.
