(HBO) - The department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the specialized authorities of the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a workshop on "Improving the capacity to build entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation" for the managers of the local departments, sectors and the Political - social organizations and research facilities of the province.

Making speeches at the opening ceremony of the workshop, the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology have stated that in recent years, starting-up innovation based on exploiting the intellectual property, the technology and the new business models has been creating the breakthroughs, strongly contributing to the socio-economic development. Immediately after the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 844/QD-TTg approving the Scheme on "Supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the National Innovation until 2025", the Department of Science and Technology has advised and submitted to the People's Committee of the province to issue a Plan to Support the provincial Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and innovation in the period of 2017-2020, with the orientation to 2025.
On that basis, the Department of Science and Technology has chaired and coordinated with the appropriate authorities to implement the effective communication and information activities on entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation. They have effectively been implementing the program to support the technological innovation in small and medium enterprises, the program to support the intellectual property development, the supporting programs to transfer the scientific and technological applications in production and life. They have also been researching, proposing and implementing the development policies, the projects to support enterprises in entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation and research, creating the business incubators and joint workspaces to support the promotion of entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation in the province.
At the workshop, the delegates have exchanged and shared their knowledge about the role of entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation and the tectonic solutions. They have suggested some experiences selecting the models and finding the suitable start-up partners. The business idea and building Canvas business model have been suggested. Through which the awareness about of entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation has been raised, helping the leaders and the local officials to raise awareness about starting a business. From that, it is better to understand the of entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation, and the importance of promoting the development of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Over recent years, the Farmers' Union of Mai Chau district has implemented numerous specific programmes and activities to support its members in developing products under the One Commune One (OCOP) programme.
