(HBO) – The provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hoa Binh province on November 14 organised a ceremony to welcome 20 students from the Lao province of Houaphanh who came to study at local colleges.

Leaders of Houaphanh province and the Department of Education and Sports visit Hoa Binh College of Technology and Technique’s IT faculty.

The event was attended by leaders from the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs, representatives from Houaphanh province and its Department of Education and Sports.

The reception of students was made based on the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee’s Plan No.60/KH-UBND on providing vocational training for students in Houaphanh province. 

Accordingly, the Lao students will undergo a 10-month Vietnamese language training course, and pursue three-year study in the fields of IT, auto technology, accounting, and plantation management at Hoa Binh College of Technology and Technique and Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technique. After graduating, they will get bachelor degrees on vocational training.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative from Houaphanh province’s Department of Education and Sports thanked leaders of Hoa Binh province, and the two colleges for creating favourable conditions for the Lao students, hoping that they will make efforts to achieve excellent academic results, and come back home to serve the nation./.
