(HBO) - The Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) – Hoa Binh Chapter issued Plan No.37/KH-MTTQ-BTT on launching fund raising activities in support of soldiers and people in Truong Sa island district and DK 1 offshore platform in 2020, so as to join hands with the nation in safeguarding Vietnam’s sea and islands and national sovereignty.
Civil servants, officials, employees, armed forces officers
and soldiers who are receiving salaries from the budget; and workers in the
central and local businesses operating in the province are encouraged to take
part in the campaign. Participants can donate one day of salary or one day of
income or more. They are encouraged to donate in accordance with their capacity
and sentiment towards the beloved Truong Sa. The campaign is running between
March 19 and April 19.
As of April 7, the VFF Hoa Binh received donations from 33
offices and units with a total amount of over 165 million VND./.
On November the first, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting for the reports on the progress of preparations to hold the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of the special national relic ranking for Trai Cave, the Stone Roof of Vanh village (Lac Son district) and the Opening Ceremony of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of Culture - Tourism Week chaired the meeting.

The Hoa Binh Steering Committee for the organisation of the fourth provincial congress of ethnic minority groups held a meeting on October 29 to discuss the progress of preparations for the congress.
