(HBO) - Since the beginning of the year, enterprises in Hoa Binh in particular and in the whole country in general have been seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although departments, agencies and localities have made great efforts and synchronously implemented solutions to generate jobs for local labourers, the number of employed workers has remained low.
In
the first six months of the year, the province created domestic jobs for an
estimated 5,000 labourers, equaling 62 percent of the figure in the same period
last year, and 31 percent of the plan set for the year.
Attention was also given to promoting vocational education, with a total of
3,243 labourers attending vocational training courses - equivalent to 57
percent of the same period last year and 20.9 percent of the yearly plan.
Regarding labour export, Hoa
Binh sent 36 labourers to work abroad so far this year. There have been seven enterprises wishing to
recruit guest workers.
The locality granted a licence allowing the sending of labourers abroad for
working, while recruiting trainees for working as nurses in Japan, and Germany./.
On May 15, the Hoa Binh Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation launched the "Digital Literacy for All” movement. The event was held both in-person and virtually, connecting provincial authorities with district-level Party committees and local communities across communes, wards, and townships.
