Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, works with representatives of Thien Minh Group.

Briefing the provincial leader on the operation of the firm, Kien said that with more than 26 years of development, from a small company supplying travel services, Thien Minh Group has become one of the leading tourism enterprises in Southeast Asia.

After the divestment of the Buffalo Tours in July 2018 by selling shares to Flight Center Travel Group – one of the biggest travel firms of Australia, Thien Minh Group has focused on developing four major business areas with more than 10 world famous trademarks.

Highlighting the potential for tourism and service development of Hoa Binh, Thien Minh Group proposed to cooperate with the province to promote tourism of the province in general and Mai Chau district in particular.

The group leader suggested that the province re-approve the planning and issue construction license so that the group can launch the second phase of the Mai Chau Lodge project in the next 12 months, while introducing some suitable locations for the implementation of resort projects in the locality.

At the working session, Tinh welcomed Thien Minh Group to invest in the province, and lauded the experience of the firm in the field of tourism. He agreed with proposals of the group, while suggesting some localities with high potential for resort tourism such as Lac Son, Tan Lac and Mai Chau districts. He also asked relevant departments and agencies to coordinate with and create optimal conditions for investors to continue attracting more investment to the province.

Tinh underlined that Hoa Binh is home to numerous beautiful landscapes as well as historical and cultural relic sites. Over the years, the province has issued many mechanisms and policies to tap the potential and advantages to develop tourism, he said. The provincial leader also expressed his hope that Thien Minh Group will make successful fieldtrips to lay a foundation for bilateral cooperation in the future, contributing to making Hoa Binh into an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists./.
