(HBO) – Secretaries of the Party Committees, Chairpersons of the People’s Committees and other officials of Hoa Binh and Son La provinces on October 27 had a working session to discuss the Hoa Binh-Moc Chau (Son La) expressway project.

The investment plan of the Hoa Binh-Moc
Chau project that is under the Public-private partnership (PPP) model was
approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 579/QD-TTg dated May 17,
2019. The expressway is designed to run a total length of 85km, with 49km in
Hoa Binh and the remaining 36km in Van Ho district, Moc Chau town, Son La
province.
The project has total investment of about
22.29 trillion VND, including 5 trillion VND worth of land in the two
provinces.

Committee of Son La province, shared the view on the significance of the
project to both localities.
The project would be extended to Dien Bien
province, they said, urging competent agencies and investors to conduct
thorough study in order to ensure the feasibility of the project. /.
Speaking at a meeting with businesses, investors, and cooperatives on the occasion of the lunar new year, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh affirmed that with the motto of the administration accompanying businesses, Hoa Binh always determines that the success of businesses is also that of the province; and their difficulties and problems are the responsibility of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels. That motto has created a landmark in the development process of the province as well as the local business community.
The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 179/TB-VPCP, dated April 23, 2024, on the conclusions of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at his meeting with the Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee on April 13.

On April 26th, the Steering Committee for completing the standards to establish Luong Son town of the province held a conference to evaluate the progress of implementing the standards to establish Luong Son town. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024), Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, and other officials of the province and Lac Son district on April 25 visited and presented gifts to local soldiers and pioneering youths who directly engaged in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
A delegation from the Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Phan Trong Binh Social Work Fund on April 22 had a working session with leaders of Hoa Binh province.
