(HBO) - After half a decade implementing resolutions of Party congresses at different levels for the 2015 – 2020 tenure, Hang Tram township (Yen Thuy district) has changed significantly. After merging Yen Lac commune into Hang Tram, local authorities are striving to build the township into a civilised urban area in the upcoming five-year period.
Hang Tram township (Yen Thuy) sees significant investment channeled into its infrastructure, gradually obtaining the
look of a civilised urban area .
The
township currently has 15
enterprises, two cooperatives, and141private businessesoperating in the industry –
construction sector, which includes carpentry, agricultural
product processing, mechanical engineering, construction
materials manufacturing, and garment-textile.
Located
at the heart of Yen Thuy district, Hang Tram has favourable conditions to
develop services and trade, with 40 enterprises and cooperatives, 629 private business households creating jobs for nearly 2,000 workers.
There
are also outstanding agriculturalmodels, such as growing pumpkin and bitter cucumber for seeds in Khoang Chong, taro in Lac Vuong, and safe vegetables in Hang Tram.
Meanwhile,
in the socio-cultural field, almost
all locals have a good sense of implementing a civilised lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals. The rate of educational universalisation has reached100 percent, while over 80 percent of the residents have participated in health insurance. The township established nine family clubs for sustainable development and
nine groups for domestic violence prevention and control.
In the 2020-2021 period, Hang Tram is set to focus on renovating and upgrading its urban area and improving local living
standards and holding communications campaigns calling for the building of a civilised lifestyle. Local neighborhoods are recommended
to incorporate urban civilisation standards into their codes of
conduct for better implementation. Hang Trang is striving to have over 80 percent of its residential areas boasting a healthy cultural environment and
friendly residents.
For 2022 - 2023, a series of targets have been set for the township to
achieve. They include 80 percent of households well implementing regulations on civilised lifestyle building in organising weddings, funerals, festivals and committing not to encroach on
roadways and pavements.
In the 2024 - 2025 period, the rates of the neighborhoods without road and payment encroachment activities and of those building civilised
urban model are expected to reach 100 percent./.
Over recent years, the Farmers' Union of Mai Chau district has implemented numerous specific programmes and activities to support its members in developing products under the One Commune One (OCOP) programme. These efforts have contributed to enhancing local agricultural branding, increasing goods value, and improving incomes and living standards for residents.
Since 2022, the Hoa Binh Department of Education and Training has provided advice for the provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 219/KH-UBND on November 17, 2022, which outlines the implementation of a project titled "Enhancing the application of Information Technology (IT) and Digital Transformation in Education and Training for the 2022–2025 period, with a vision to 2030.” As of now, the local education sector has made significant progress in IT adoption and digital transformation.
Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.
The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.
In recent years, Hoa Binh has allocated significant resources to foster cooperative economy, helping ethnic minorities capitalise on their potential and advantages to escape poverty.
As a mountainous district still facing numerous challenges, Da Bac has made notable progress in advancing administrative reforms across various areas. The district has prioritised reorganising and streamlining its administrative apparatus, operating "one-stop-shop” units, and applying information technology (IT) in the handling of administrative procedures. Efforts have also been directed toward upgrading infrastructure and equipment to enhance service quality for residents and businesses.
