(HBO) - Luong Son district, which is located to the northeast of the capital city of Hanoi, has attracted an array of domestic and foreign investors in the fields of tourism and clean agriculture. The locality is promoting integration to branch out its economy, build a modern urban area, and turn itself into a safe and alluring destination for tourists.

Phoenix Golf Resort in Lam Son commune Luong Son district has been an ideal weekend retreat for Hanoians.

Boasting huge potential for agricultural development, the district has spared no efforts to increase added value to its agricultural products, as well as expand high-tech agriculture and organic agriculture.

Local products like organic vegetables, Luong Son goat and Viba banana have won the taste of many consumers.

In the end of 2014, a collective brand was granted to Luong Son’s Lac lay loofa and organic vegetables, helping local organic vegetable receive many valuable titles such as "Gold Brand of Vietnam’s Agriculture in 2016”, and a gold cup for "organic agriculture brand for public health”. It was honoured as a standout agricultural product for three years.

Currently, the district has found markets for products of 22 farming groups with 144 members.

At night, visitors can enjoy Muong ethnic dancing and singing, drink ruou can (wine stored in a big jar and drunk with long bamboo straws), and taste several local staples, she said.
