Huy Chi General
Service Cooperative in Hung Son Commune of Kim Boi district has been pioneering
in putting its three-star OCOP product of lemongrass oil on sale on e-commerce
platforms.
To date, the whole district has 10 products recognised by the provincial
People's Committee as provincial 3-star OCOP products. After receiving the
certificates of provincial OCOP products, manufacturers have invested in
improving designs and packaging, and strengthening trade promotion through
various channels.
However, since COVID-19 broke out, OCOP product producers have been affected
greatly. In order to help them overcome difficulties during the pandemic, the
district People's Committee has directed the provincial Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with relevant departments to
help them build production plans and sell products. Accordingly, the district
has cooperated with Viettel Post and the provincial Post Office to organise
training courses to equip them with knowledge and skills to put products on e-commerce
platforms of Voso.vn and Postmart.vn. In addition, when the fourth wave of
COVID-19 broke out, causing difficulties to trade activities, the district has
actively coordinated with relevant sectors to create favorable conditions for
traders to purchase agricultural products and give them support in COVID-19
testing.
Bui Van Mien, Director of Son Thuy Agricultural Service Cooperative in Xuan
Thuy commune said that with the support of the local government and sectors at
all levels, the cooperative had put Son Thuy longan on some e-commerce
platforms such as Sendo.vn, Shopee.vn, Voso.vn, and Postmart.vn, thus
diversifying product distribution channels of local longan. By the end of
August, Son Thuy longan had been sold out, he said.
Along with expanding distribution channels and putting OCOP products on the
e-commerce platforms, local producers have actively adjusted production plans
to adapt to unpredictable developments of the pandemic.

and ranking. They are Muong Dong Com lam(stickyricecooked in
