(HBO) – The Hoa Binh People’s Committee signed an agreement on comprehensive cooperation for the 2022-26 with the Vietnam Airlines Group during a conference held virtually on March 25.

The cooperation aims to promote tourism, investment and trade, foster the recovery of air travel and tourism after COVID-19, and popularise both sides' images.

They will join hands to disseminate potential and investment chances of Hoa Binh province and their tourism products and services; and organise trade, investment, tourism and air travel promotion activities together with major tourism events.

The sides are to study solutions to bolster demand for domestic tourism, take part in national and regional events and support working delegations of Hoa Binh during trips promoting the province’s investment and tourism.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Secretary of the provincial People’s Committee Ngo Van Tuan voiced his delight at the cooperation agreement between Hoa Binh and Vietnam Airlines Group, which is hoped to help with the province’s economic growth in the coming time and benefit the aviation company.

Hoa Binh has drawn various investment projects from major businesses of the country, he said, adding that the cooperation will help the province realise targets set in the resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress.

Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Airline Group Dang Ngoc Hoa affirmed that the group will work to bolster investment into Hoa Binh as well as the province’s tourism and air travel.

The sides will collaborate to develop key tourism products and organise events promoting culture, sports, cuisine and festivals./.

Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.
