(HBO) - Over the past time, cooperatives and cooperative groups in Hoa Binh province have identified their roles in building product value chains, and developing key products on the basis of promoting the locality’s potential and advantages to bring about high economic efficiency.
Many of them have invested in science and technology in production in association with branding and participating in the OCOP (One Commune One Product) programme. To date, 66 products of 57 cooperatives and cooperative groups have been recognised as meeting provincial OCOP standards.

To support cooperatives in joining this programme, the provincial Cooperative Alliance organises surveys on localities’ traditional and key products owned by cooperatives to help them boost production in the value chain, with VietGAP standards, trademark registration, and traceability./.
