(HBO) – The great national solidarity festival has been held in Bieng hamlet in Tan Lac district’s Quyet Chien commune.
Attending the event were Quach The Ngoc, a member of the
provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and head of its Commission for
Information and Education, and leaders of some departments and agencies as well
as Tan Lac district.

district’s Quyet Chien commune.
Bieng hamlet has 100 households with 442 people, of which Muong ethnic minority
group accounts for 99% of the population.
This year, thanks to the application of scientific and technological
advancements and actively responding to emulation campaigns to promote production,
the locality’s economy has gradually developed and the material and spiritual
lives of local people have been increasingly improved.
The villagers' per capita income is estimated at 30.9 million VND (1,240 USD).
There are 22 poor households in the hamlet. All local children of
school-ageaccess schooling.
Social security and order are maintained and 95% of the households are
recognised as cultural families. Local residents contributed money and working
days to build roads and install surveillance cameras. The hamlet is honoured as
a cultural residential area.
Speaking at the event, Quach The Ngoc, head of the provincial Party Committee's
Commission for Information and Education, lauded achievements gained by Bieng
hamlet and hoped that local residents would actively follow patriotic emulation
campaigns and observe the guidelines of the Party as well as policies and
regulations of the State.
He urged local people to protect the environment, pay due attention to
education, preserve cultural identity and seek ways to reduce the number of
poor households.
The commune's Fatherland Front Committee was asked to perform well the
dissemination work while the Party committee and administration were requested
to pay attention to building infrastructure and help with production techniques
and the sale of products.
On this occasion, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented
10 gift packages to 10 poor households. The commune People's Committee handed
over certificates of merit to 13 households that have recognised as cultural
families for the third consecutive year./.
On November the first, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting for the reports on the progress of preparations to hold the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of the special national relic ranking for Trai Cave, the Stone Roof of Vanh village (Lac Son district) and the Opening Ceremony of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of Culture - Tourism Week chaired the meeting.
