(HBO) - Authorities of Kim Boi district have worked hard to accelerate the construction of resettlement areas to serve key infrastructure projects in the locality.
The construction of two key infrastructure projects in Kim Boi district - the inter-regional road project Hoa Binh - Ha Noi and Son La highway (Hoa Binh - Moc Chau) and the complex of Cuoi Ha ecological urban area, high-class entertainment and cable car system - is expected to begin by the end of this year.
Authorities have coordinated with related units to carry out land clearance and build resettlement areas to serve these projects.
For the project of the inter-regional road, the district People's Committee proposed to construct three resettlement sites in Du Sang commune (0.24 ha), Vinh Tien commune (0.25 ha), and Vinh Dong commune (0.94 ha).
Meanwhile, resettlement areas serving the land clearance for the complex of Cuoi Ha ecological urban area, high-class entertainment and the cable car system are planed to be constructed in Kim Boi and Cuoi Ha communes.
On October 24, 2022, a delegation of the provincial People's Committee led by its Vice Chairman Quach Tat Liem paid a field visit to Kim Boi district to inspect the preparation for investment in a number of resettlement projects in the locality that serves the land clearance for the two above-mentioned projects.
Liem assigned the People's Committee of Kim Boi district to propose investment plans for building resettlement areas to ensure compliance with the resolutions of the provincial People's Council, construction planning, land use plans and others of the locality; and urgently complete investment procedures for beginning the construction in order to complete and put resettlement areas into operation in the first quarter of 2023.
The provincial Department of Planning and Investment have been tasked with coordinating with relevant departments, sectors and units to consider the proposal of the district People's Committee on the investment plan for building resettlement areas in Kim Boi to serve the land clearance for the inter-regional road project Hoa Binh - Ha Noi and Son La highway (Hoa Binh - Moc Chau); and make proposals and report to the provincial People's Committee in accordance with regulations.
A 7.06-ha resettlement area in Kim Boi district and a commercial housing area combined with resettlement area with a total area of 56.5 ha in Cuoi Ha commune will be built to serve the land clearance for the complex of Cuoi Ha ecological urban area, high-class entertainment and cable car system in Kim Boi and Cuoi Ha communes.
Vice Chairman Liem agreed to support the People's Committee of Kim Boi district in constructing resettlement infrastructure.
The provincial Department of Planning and Investment have been assigned to coordinate with relevant units in balancing capital sources and submitting to the authorised agencies to supplement the public investment portfolio, thus providing the missing capital from the land use levy of resettlement areas to the district, serving as a basis for speeding up the completion of project investment procedures in accordance with regulations./.
