(HBO) – Agencies in charge of economic management and statistics in Hoa Binh province have held a conference to review emulation movements in 2022 and launch tasks for 2023. The event was attended by leaders of the province’s emulation and commendation committee and representatives of seven agencies in the emulation bloc.

In 2022, the agencies have promoted patriotic emulation movements, helping them fulfill duties and surpass targets.

Notably, the Hoa Binh branch of the Vietnam Social Security has collected over 2.2 trillion VND (93.3 million USD) in premiums, meeting the target set by the Vietnam Social Security. The provincial Department of Taxation has collected more than 6 trillion VND in tax, 70.1% higher than the target set by the Government and meeting the one set by the provincial People’s Council. Meanwhile, the Market Surveillance Department has carried out 1,366 examinations, equivalent to 92.86% of the target.

The local branch of the State Treasury of Vietnam has fulfilled the plan on spending control and payment and met 81% of the disbursement target for investment in basic construction. The Customs Department collected more than 315 billion VND in export and import tariffs, equivalent to 101.1% of the target set by the provincial People’s Council. Besides, total outstanding loans provided by the State Bank of Vietnam’s provincial branch topped 32 trillion VND, rising over 3.6 trillion VND or 12.6% from 2021.

Among the tasks for 2023, the agencies will push ahead with implementing the Law on Emulation and Commendation; increase the dissemination of legal regulations, directions, and guidance on emulation and commendation among cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; and effectively step up emulation movements associated with their political and specialised tasks.

Besides, they will also introduce, commend, and multiple exemplars and good models in emulation movements./.
