(HBO) – Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh held a working session with Win Holdings JSC and investors from the Republic of Korea (RoK) on March 21. Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Cong Su and leaders of departments and agencies.

Operating in various fields, Win Holdings JSC
has been investing in areas such as urban investment and construction,
residential and housing areas, resorts combined with golf courses, waste
treatment plants, wood processing factories, civil engineering and public
utility works, and trade promotion activities.
Representing investors at the session, Chung
Myung-kun, Director of the Il Heung Hitech company, spoke highly of the Hoa
Binh province’s development potential. Korean investors wished to receive local
support in agriculture, processing farm produce using advanced technology. In
particular, the company wished to invest in building a factory specialised in
producing components and equipment to assemble eco-friendly waste treatment
machines that do not emit carbon dioxide in Lac Son district. In addition, the
company also wished to cooperate in investing in infrastructure construction,
human resource training, deep processing of agricultural products and
introducing farm produce to the Korean market.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Khanh welcomed
Korean businesses interested in investing and cooperating in Hoa Binh province.
He suggested that they continue studying the local potential and strengths to
choose appropriate investment orientations with high efficiency. The province
will offer all possible support for them when they invest in the province, he
said.
Regarding the proposal to invest in building a
factory producing components and equipment for waste treatment machines in Lac
Son district, Khanh asked leaders of departments, agencies and business representatives
to work closely together to launch legal and administrative procedures in
accordance with the law. The provincial People's Committee is ready to launch
projects as soon as possible, he said.
With the motto of "polite, dedicated, professional, and lawful,” over the years, Phu Cuong commune in Tan Lac district has gradually improved the quality of processing administrative procedures, winning high satisfaction from local people and businesses.
Stretching over 300 meters, valued at hundreds of million dong and built to the new-style rural standards, a concrete road in De hamlet, Bac Phong commune, Cao Phong district, was completed by the end of 2023 thanks to the collective contributions of armed forces at provincial and district levels coupled with the active participation of military units stationed throughout the district.
Over the years, the People’s Committee of Lac Thuy district has issued many plans and programmes to speed up the administrative reform, aiming to better serve local people and businesses.
Kim Boi district is drafting 23 planning projects which are expected to help boost the local socio-economic development, attract investors, and mobilise resources for development, said Vice chairman of the district People’s Committee Tran Tuan Son.
They include the one on Bo urban area development until 2045, 20 zoning, and 12 on rural residential areas in communes.
This year, Hoa Binh province strives to have eight communes recognised as meeting new-style rural area standards and five communes satisfying exemplary new-style rural area standards. Since the beginning of the year, the provincial People's Committee has drastically directed the implementation of the national target programme on new-style rural area building to fulfil the set target.
Cao Phong district achieved positive socio-economic development results last year as drastic comprehensive measures were implemented with high determination of its whole political system, said the Secretary of the district Party Committee Ha Van Di.
