Dong Bang housing project, Hang Tram town (the trade name is DHome Yen Thuy) with an area of 9,336 hectares, is expected to meet the housing needs for the people in Yen Thuy district and the surrounding areas, increasing the efficiency of land use, forming a new urban face. DHome Yen Thuy owns the frontage of the National Highway 12B with a population of about 976 people, including 3 main product lines: shophouse, the adjacent residential land and villa land. In addition, the residential project area A in Hang Tram town with an area of 7.5 ha has just been issued a decision approving the land use right in the auction plan by the Provincial People's Committee. This is also a continuation project of DHome Yen Thuy, which promises to bring a new urban face to the locality.
Taking us to survey the actual progress of the projects being implemented, Mr. Nguyen Anh Son, the Deputy Head of the Economic - Infrastructure Department of Yen Thuy district says: the Resolution of the districts’ XXI Party Congress of the term 2020 - 2025 has set the target of 25% of the urbanization rate in the district by 2025. In order to achieve the set goals and requirements, planning and planning management are given great importance by the Party committees and the appropriate authorities at all levels and functional branches, especially for Hang Tram town, the administrative center of political, economic, cultural and social aspects of the district. The district's urbanization rate has reached 20.5% by now. The district has clearly identified that the urban construction planning needs to be one step ahead with the strategic to achieve the goal of sustainable development. Accordingly, the planning process and contents have been renewed in the direction of integrating the sustainable development, the climate change response and green urban development. The district's point of view is to balance land and facilities for the socio-economic activities; focusing on the urban traffic development; ensuring the provision of the technical infrastructure and environmental sanitation. In particular, it is always necessary to create the most favorable conditions for the people to participate in the urban development planning and management.
Before merging Yen Lac commune into Hang Tram town, the district’s People's Committee has completed the town planning project to 2030, with a vision to 2040. Before merging, the town had an area of 228 hectares, after merging, a total of the planned area is 2,399 hectares, the population size is about 13,320 people. The planning of Hang Tram town has clearly shown the land use planning, the development orientation in terms of economy, urban space, system of residential areas and urban landscape, tourism areas, public services, space, park system, trees, water surface, sports and physical activities. The plan also identifies the areas where construction is prohibited and restricted, the waste treatment areas, the cemeteries and focal works, the agricultural and forestry development zones and development reserves, assessing and orienting the work of environmental protection…

With half a term left for Yen Thuy to reach the 25% urbanization rate by 2025, the district has been focusing on implementing the solutions for urban and housing development, reviewing and effectively managing the land fund, the auction land according to the regulations. They have been mobilizing the resources for the site clearance and implementing the key and pervasive projects to generate revenue for the budget. The capacity of the state management in urban areas and real estate market has been improved. The urban and commercial housing projects have been implemented in accordance with the socio-economic development planning, the housing development planning of the province and the characteristics of each residential area, and it is towards the fact that all people having a place to live and develop the smart urban with the green and sustainable growth.
