(HBO) - Increasing the satisfaction of residents and businesses is one of the main goals of Yen Thuy district in its administrative reform efforts.

Statistics showed that in 2022, the administration reform index of the district climbed one place, an increase of 1.39% compared to the previous year. It belonged to the group of district-level units with the highest scores in the province in terms of the satisfaction level of residents and organisations regarding services provided by state administration agencies.

The district has recorded positive changes in the administration reform index in 2019 – 2022. Notably in 2022, the district showed good performance in improving the quality of civil servants; reforming administrative procedures, and developing electronic and digital administration. The building and enforcement oflegal documentswere well implemented.

Bui Thi Nhung, Deputy Head of the Division of Internal Affairs of Yen Thuy district, said in order to better the quality of services to residents and businesses, the district has continued to maintain models to support citizens to perform registration of online public services at level 3 and level 4; and support online payment and the use of public postal services at the district and commune levels.

The district People's Committee has also required agencies, units, and the People's Committees of communes and towns to process at least 95% of dossiers through the online public service portal, Nhung said.

The district has also promoted the application of information technology in activities of agencies and units, effectively maintained its website, and regularly updated information on the portals of communes and towns. Attention has been also paid to strictly implementing administrative discipline in state agencies.

In the first five months of 2023,nearly 350 dossiers were sent to the unit ofreceivingandreturning results of the district, while nearly 4,000 others were sent to units of receivingandreturning results at the communal level. The dossiers were processed on schedule in line with regulations./.
