(HBO) – Over the past years, Tay Phong commune in Cao Phong district of Hoa Binh province has stepped up administrative reform, and improved the quality and operational efficiency of the reception and result delivery unit, creating favourable conditions for organisations and individuals to carry out administrative procedures quickly and contributing to local socio-economic development.


An official in Tay Phong commune, Cao Phong district, is helping local residents with administrative procedures.

The commune’s reception and result delivery unit was soon established and put into operation. Equipped with modern facilities and software, and connected with the provincial People’s Committee, district People’s Committees and agencies, the unit has helped reduce costs for organisations and individuals.

Bui Van Thiem, an employee in charge of office and statistics affairs, said all of the administrative procedures are publicised at the unit and on the commune's portal, adding the one-stop software has been applied to eight sectors with 118 procedures.

By the end of May, the commune received 738 dossiers in different fields, including 725 online. Of the total, 733 were handled.

Bui Van Ben, Chairman of the commune People's Committee, said over the past years, the locality has paid attention to administrative reform to improve the quality of public services.

The commune has been recently chosen by Cao Phong district as a model of "Friendly Administration Serving the People.” Accordingly, the commune established a 20-member governing board, issued operational regulations, and assigned specific tasks to each member.

In the coming time, it will continue raising the quality of administrative reform in line with one-stop mechanisms, better the information work to raise public awareness of the model, put forth plans for personnel training, and utilise information-technology in administrative reform, aiming to better serve the people and contribute to the local socio-economic development./.
