(HBO) - On 8 August, the Steering Committee 09 in Van Mai commune (Mai Chau) organized the Day "All People Protecting the National Security (This unit was the point in Mai Chau district). There was the attendance of Colonel Do Thanh Binh, a Member of Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, a Director of Provincial Public Security, a Deputy Head of the provincial Standing Committee.

In the past years, Van Mai commune has always attached much importance to building the movement of the National Security. From a key area of the public order, there are often complicated cases, the crimes of drug, theft, cheating to appropriate property, high number of addicts... Up to now, the commune has successfully transformed and become an area with the guaranteed security order. The movement of National Sevurity has continued to be firmly consolidated with many effective self-management models on security order; the crime situation has been restrained; the number of cases and people violating the law has decreased; the number of addicts and social evils has gradually being repelled. The self-management models on security order has continuously been effective. It has mobilized the masses to voluntarily and actively participate in the movement of National Security, preventing the crimes and social responsibility…
Making a speech at the festival, Colonel Do Thanh Binh emphasized that the results of the movement of the National Security were a very important basis to contributedly build the position of people’s security and people's hearts. Through the movement, people have been encouraged to actively participate in the fight against the crimes and repel the social responsibility. The people have actively participated in persuasion, education and help the wrong people in their families and communities. They also have maintained the public order, prevented fire and explosion, built the rules of ensuring security in residential areas; participated in building the Party Committee, authorities and political - social organizations purely and strongly; built the villages and communes safely in terms of security...
On this occasion, the Director of Provincial Public Security presented the certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; Mai Chau District People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; The People's Committee of Van Mai Commune presented the certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the National Security.
Over recent years, the Farmers' Union of Mai Chau district has implemented numerous specific programmes and activities to support its members in developing products under the One Commune One (OCOP) programme. These efforts have contributed to enhancing local agricultural branding, increasing goods value, and improving incomes and living standards for residents.
Since 2022, the Hoa Binh Department of Education and Training has provided advice for the provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 219/KH-UBND on November 17, 2022, which outlines the implementation of a project titled "Enhancing the application of Information Technology (IT) and Digital Transformation in Education and Training for the 2022–2025 period, with a vision to 2030.” As of now, the local education sector has made significant progress in IT adoption and digital transformation.
Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024.
