(HBO) – The model of "stuffed animal production for export" of Loc Phat Cooperative in Binh Hem commune was recognised as a role model in patriotic emulation movements in Lac Son district.

Loc Phat Cooperative produces stuffed animals for export, creating jobs for 60 local workers.

Quach Van Bac, head of the cooperative, said that it was established in August 2021 with 25 members. Now, the cooperative has two workshops. Its products are exported to China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Norway, Saudi Arabia, and India.

Currently, the cooperative creates jobs for 60 people in the commune and neighbouring communes with an average monthly income of 5 million VND (200 USD) per person.

Other role models in Lac Son district have been widely multiplied in other areas. In 2023, nine collectives and 13 individuals are recognised as district-level role models. The district is selecting and submitting to the provincial Council for Emulation and Commendation for appraisal and recognition of the province-level models.

Of the models are a model on producing turmeric starch for export in Nhan Nghia commune, model "Lam Tin fermented pork production" in Vu Binh commune or model on building an outdoor playground for children in Hoa Hong kindergarten in Vu Ban town.

Bui Nguyet Minh, Head of the district’s Department of Internal Affairs, said that the Party Committee, administration, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in Lac Son district act with the motto "Unity, Discipline, Innovation, Drastic and Effective Actions” to implement socio-economic targets and tasks in 2023.

Grassroots agencies and units have closely followed the political tasks and organised many practical and effective emulation movements.

In the coming time, the district will continue to grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation and the Party's policies and laws on emulation and commendation.

The district will focus on the implementation of patriotic emulation movements at the grassroots level. It will also concentrate on rewarding small collectives, workers, farmers, workers, civil servants and public employees. The examples of "Good people, good deeds" movements and effective models will be highlighted and multiplied in communities and society, thus contributing to the locality's socio-economic development.
