(HBO) - According to the statistics, currently the system of the rural power grid in the province has a total length of 7,156.67 km. Of which, the medium voltage line is 2,728.03 km long; the low voltage line is 4,428.64 km long.
Recently,
the functional authorities and the localities in the province have focused on
renovating and upgrading the system of the rural power grid towards safety,
reliability, stability and aesthetics. Up till now, the system of the rural
power grid in the province has basically met the needs of the local
socio-economic development and it has contributed to changing the face of rural
areas, the quality of the power supply is stable, and the people have been
benefiting the electricity prices according to the regulations.
Currently,
129 out of the 129 communes in the province have been using the electricity
systems to ensure production, business and living, reaching 100% of criterion
number 4 on electricity in the construction of the new rural areas.
Administrative reform has been identified as a key priority in enhancing state governance, improving the business environment, and facilitating services for citizens and enterprises.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
