Hoa Binh province has 7 more communes meeting new rural standards, the total number of communes in the whole province meet new rural standards 80 communes; on average, it achieved 16.2 criteria/commune.

The 7 communes that meet new rural standards placed the highest focus on production development, prioritizing the development of key commodity products, replicating effective production models and developing linked production chains. with consumption.

Now, the average income per capita in communes that meet rural standards has only reached 43.46 million VND/person; poverty rate 11.9%. Infrastructure is built according to new rural planning; the political system is firmly consolidated. Total capital mobilized for new rural construction of communes is over 1,800 billion VND.

In 2023, there are 2 communes (Nhuan Trach, Luong Son district; Phu Lai commune, Yen Thuy district) meet advanced new rural standards.
