On January 9th, the Provincial Farmers' Union organized a conference to deploy the tasks in 2024. Mr. Dinh Cong Su, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the conference.


Mr. Dinh Cong Su, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was awarding the certificates of the title of Emulation Soldiers at the provincialmlevel to 2 individuals with the outstanding achievements in carrying out the work of the Union and the farmers; movement from 2020 to 2022. 


In 2023, the Farmers’ Union at all levels in the province closely followed the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the Union's resolutions to propagate and disseminate widely to the officials and the members. The activities of service, consulting, vocational training, and supporting farmers; Mobilizing the farmers to actively implement the Program of building the new rural areas,thecivilized urban areas and promote the environmental protection... During the year, the entire Union admitted 1,286 new members, bringing the total number of members above 130,120 people, with 1,469 branches and 2,441 associations. 

In the whole province, there are 70,789 households registering, of which 40,132 households achieved the title of the excellent production and business at all levels. The Union at all levels has mobilized the members to respond and plant over 86,700 trees to contribute to greening the bare land and hills; the models of the rural environmental protection continue to be maintained. Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build the cultural life in the residential areas”, the Farmers’ Unions of the districts and the citiy have handed over 20 Famrmers’ Shelters to the poor members. 

In 2024, the Provincial Farmers’ Union sets out 12 specific targets with 5 groups of tasks and solutions to carry out the tasks. 

Making a speech at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested: To well carry out the tasks set out in 2024, the Farmers’ Union at all levels in the province need to well carry out the following tasks: Promoting the propaganda work and raising the awareness of Party committees, the unions as well as the farmer members. It is necessary to pay attention to building a strong Union organization; Taking care of the grassroots staff associated with advocacy, propaganda, and admission of new members. It is suggested proactively advising the party committees and the authorities at all levels to coordinate with the departments and branches to implement the related projects to make agriculture and rural areas, especially the 3 national target programs develop effectively. It must act as a bridge between the government, scientists and farmers in developing the new rural areas. It is also necessary to perform well the function of the social criticism in all aspects, especially in implementing the programs and projects on the socio-economic development. The major movements of the Union must be implemented in association with the movement of patriotic emulation. It is important to do well the consulting activities and the farmers’ support services... 

At the conference, 2 individuals with the outstanding achievements in carrying out the work of the Union and the farmers’ movement from 2020 - 2022 were awarded the title of the Emulation Soldier at the provicial level; 6 individuals received the Medal "For the Vietnamese Farmer Class” from the Central Farmers’ Union of Vietnam. Many groups and individuals with the outstanding achievements in all aspects of work received the certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee and from the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Congress.

Hoa Binh allocated over 30 trillion VND (nearly 1.18 billion USD) to develop infrastructure systems in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2019 - 2024. Priority was given to transport and irrigation infrastructure; markets; schools; medical stations; communal houses; and power grid, telecommunication, radio, and television systems.

Ceramic mural on Hoa Binh military-civilian ties inaugurated

The Hoa Binh provincial organising committee for anniversary activities on December 17 held a ceremony to unveil a ceramic mural on the local military-civilian ties and release a book on the Party and political work of the provincial armed forces during 1947 – 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival.
