The Business Association of Hoa Binh province on January 25 organised a conference summing up its activities in 2023 and putting forward tasks for this year. Attending the event were Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council; and Bui Van Khanh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, among others.

Currently, the association has 16 member organisations in all districts and Hoa Binh city, with over 700 members. It has effectively played its role as a bridge connecting businesses in the province, and transmitting documents on guidelines, policies and laws to businesses in a timely manner, thus contributing to raising enterprises’ awareness and consciousness of complying with the guidelines, policies, and laws of the State and the province.
During the year, the association gathered and listened to its members' feedback and recommendations about difficulties in production and business to propose to relevant authorities and provincial leaders; effectively improved the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI); coordinated in the implementation of investment attraction activities and programmes to improve provincial competitiveness index; and actively participated in important foreign affairs and socio-economic development activities of the province.
In addition, the business community proactively joined social and charitable activities such as aiding the fund for the poor and study encouragement funds, building charity houses, and giving Tet gifts to the poor.
In 2024, the association sets goals of continuing to closely grasp the production and business situation of enterprises; coordinating in organising dialogue programmes to create conditions for businessmen to meet and discuss with State management agencies to help solve difficulties; and promoting linkages between businesses in the locality, and between those in the same industry.
Speaking at the event, Khanh acknowledged, praised, and appreciated the operation results of the provincial Business Association and its members in the past year. He asked the association to continue making efforts to overcome difficulties in production and business, promoting its role and responsibility in supporting the business community to seize new opportunities, and implementing charitable and social welfare activities, thus contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2024.
