Greenlife cooperative in Hop Tien commune, Kim Boi district, applies advanced technology to make honey qualified for export to demanding markets.

In 2023, the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee recognised the art-teaching model at Hoa Phuong preschool as a role model in the patriotic emulation. With a desire to help preschool children develop comprehensively, in the past three years, the preschool improved the quality of aesthetic education through teaching music and dances. This model has encouraged and created excitement for children to study and helped them develop both physically and mentally.

Another emulation exemplar in the district is Dinh Cong Thuan, Director of Greenlife Cooperative in Hop Tien Commune. The cooperative produces on average over 40,000 litres of honey yearly, earning about 6 billion VND (over 243,300 USD). It creates stable jobs for 12 local workers with monthly salaries ranging from 4.5 - 6 million VND per person. In 2023, the cooperative's honey products were recognised as four-star "One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) products. In 2023, Kim Boi district honoured 32 groups and individuals as exemplars of patriotic emulation movements.

According to Chairman of the district People's Committee Bui Van Diep, who is also Chairman of the district Emulation and Commendation Council, the district always pays much attention to models with outstanding and typical achievements in production, study, and work, especially those with initiatives to improve productivity and management and apply high-tech science and technology.

The district also focuses on finding groups and individuals who actively join social, humanitarian, and charity activities.

Role models in patriotic emulation movements have made great contributions to the local socio-economic development. In 2023, the district achieved 17 out of the18 socio-economic development targets, its average per capita income reached 50 million VND, 11% higher than the target. The district’s poverty rate decreased to 12.28%.
