Cao Phong district has witnessed signs of economic improvement over the recent past thanks to efforts by local authorities to promote agricultural, industrial, and handicraft development.
Farmers in Binh Thanh commune (Cao Phong
district) tend orange orchards in accordance with VietGAP standards.
In mid-April, in sugarcane fields in Hop Phong
commune (Cao Phong district), farmers focused on harvesting sugarcane for sale
to retailers.
Bui Van Bien, a local farmer, said this year's
sugarcane price is lower than that reported in late last year. However, the
quality of sugarcane is better, helping promote the sales. Orange, sugarcane, banana, and some other fruit
trees are the main crops contributing to Cap Phong’s economic development.
The district has over 1,740 ha of citrus fruit
trees, including 1,357 ha of orange, 73 ha of tangerine, 56.6 ha of lime, and

Over the recent past, the district has focused
on promoting tourism development, particularly spiritual and community tourism,
attracting a large number of visitors. Attention has been paid to developing
tourism infrastructure in Mung and Mo villages, Dau Rong mountain tourism

According to Vu Dinh Bang, head of the economic
and infrastructure department of Cao Phong, the locality has concentrated on
upgrading and constructing transportation infrastructure facilities, especially
for some key projects, to enhance connection and serve economic and tourism
development.
Chairman of the district People’s Committee Quach

clearance, urge investors and contractors to accelerate the implementation of
infrastructure projects, and speed up the auction of land use rights and site
