(HBO) – The Party Committee of Hoa Binh province has recently held a video-conference on enhancing the Party building and the establishment of mass organisations in non-state businesses. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh chaired the event with the attendance of Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu.

Bui Van Tinh, member of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Secretary of the Hoa Binh
Party Committee concludes the conference.
On October 29, 2017, the Standing Committee of
the provincial Party Committee promulgated Directive 38 enhancing the Party
building and the establishment of mass organisations in non-state businesses in
the locality between 2015 and 2017. Positive outcomes were recorded after three
years of implementation thanks to the engagement of local authorities and
political and social organisations at all levels. Many workers and business
owners aspired to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and partake
in mass organisations’ activities. Forty-eight non-state enterprises in Hoa
Binh have established Party organisations with 544 members; 191 grassroots
trade unions with over 21,000 members; and 16 youth unions with 1,055 members.
Since establishment, the role and position of Party and mass organisations have
been increasing, thus helping raise business awareness of obeying the Law on
trade unions and Law on labour to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of
workers.
Concluding the event, Secretary of the Hoa Binh
Province Party Committee Bui Van Tinh hailed localities for implementing
Directive 38, creating positive changes in raising awareness of business owners
in non-state companies. However, the communication and guidance of businesses
to establish Party and mass organisations have yet been effective, he said. The
Resolution adopted at the fifth session of the 12th Central Party Committee
highlights the private economy as an important driving force for the
development of the socialist-oriented market economy. Therefore, the Party committees
of Hoa Binh city and districts in the province need to reorganise and increase
the quality of activities of Party organisations and political and social ones
in private and foreign-invested businesses, he stressed. He called to double
the number of Party and mass organisations in non-state enterprises, especially
in Da Bac, Mai Chau, Tan Lac and Lac Thuy districts.
He requested to step up communication campaigns
and enhance State administrative management in implementing the Government’s
Decree 98 on stipulating the establishment of political and social organisations
in all economic sectors as well as honouring business owners, Party and mass
organisations, trade unions, Party and youth union members for implementing
Directive 38 well. He also asked to help businesses set up Party and mass
organisations to create momentum for their sustainable development
In the spirit of "Party members go first, the people follow”, all households of Party members in the Doan Ket sub-region in Da Bac town, Da Bac district, voluntarily removed gates and fences, and donated land when the road expansion project passed through their properties. Inspired by their example, 68 households in the sub-region quickly followed suit, contributing over 1,400 sq.m of residential and perennial cropland to widen the main road through the residential area. The exemplary role of Party members in Doan Ket stands as a shining example of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always expressed his deep affection and special concern for children and youth. He once emphasized: "Caring for and educating children well is the responsibility of the entire Party and the entire people”; "First of all, the family (i.e. grandparents, parents, siblings) must do this job well”. "the Party Committees…, the Children’s Committee, the Youth Union, the education sector, and all related organizations must have specific plans to ensure children grow healthier and more progressive”. His teachings has been remaining valuable and serving as the guiding principles in the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children. In line with this ideology, Hoa Binh Province has continuously been prioritizing and investing resources in the well-being of children in recent years.
