Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, chaired a meeting of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on April 17 to discuss a number of investment projects and matters related to promoting the province’s socio-economic growth.

At the meeting, the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee sought policy approval from the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee on a range of major proposals. Among them are Phuong Bac Resort Complex and Thung Muong Rural Residential Area, both in Tu Son commune, Kim Boi district; Ky Son Urban Area in Quang Tien commune, Hoa Binh city; and two ecological urban developments - Eco-Urban Area No. 2 in Hop Thanh commune and Eco-Urban Area No. 2 in Thinh Minh commune, also within Hoa Binh city.

Proposals also included Thung Xanh Eco-Tourism and Nature Conservation Project in Binh Minh Area, Man Duc township, Tan Lac district, and a project to construct a laterite extraction establishment for cement additives in Vu Binh commune, Lac Son district.

In addition to investment projects, participants also reviewed several financial matters, including proposed adjustments to the 2024 State budget estimates as outlined in Decision No. 2699/QD-UBND dated December 9, 2024 and Resolution No. 455/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2024, the second-phase allocation of increased provincial revenue, and amendments to Decision No. 361/QD-UBND dated March 4, 2025.

Long, together with members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, reached consensus on all submitted proposals. The Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee was assigned to direct the provincial People's Committee in implementing the projects in accordance with legal regulations and to coordinate closely with investors to ensure timely progress.

On budget-related proposals, the Secretary directed that the Department of Finance to ensure allocations are properly balanced and follow standard regulatory procedures.

Also at the meeting, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee approved a proposal from the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Council regarding the content of and the time to hold the 27th session of the 17th provincial People’s Council for the 2021–2026 tenure.
